Apple Pancakes
Ingredients
- 300 g ZENXIN Organic Fuji Apples, peeled, cored and quartered
- 3 tsp Simply Natural Organic Cane Sugar
- 1 ½ tsp Simply Natural Organic Cinnamon Powder
- 250 g water
- 4 ZENXIN Organic Antibiotic Free Medium Eggs (Selenium Enriched)
- 300 g Simply Natural Organic All Purpose Flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 10 – 20 g unsalted butter, for frying
- Simply Natural Fresh Raw Honey, for serving
Methods
- Chop the apples and mix with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.
- Mix water and eggs in a mixing bowl. Then, add flour, baking powder and chopped apples. Mix well.
- Heat a tablespoon of butter in a large pancake or frying pan over a medium heat. Pour in batter to make rounds approx. 10 cm (you may be able to cook two at once). Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side then transfer to a plate. Repeat, adding more butter when necessary until all batter is used. Serve warm, with a drizzle of honey.
