Ingredients

  • 1 cup SN Four Treasures Mixed Grains rice, washed and drained
  • 1/2 tsp Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 Organic Onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp SN Himalayan Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1.5 tbsp SN Raw Cashew Nuts
  • 1 tbsp SN Organic Jumbo Raisins

Methods

  • Sauté garlic and onions on medium heat in a frying pan. Once garlic turns golden-brown, and onions turns translucent, add in the rice and mix well.
  • Next, season rice with salt and add in turmeric powder and mix well. Once rice is fragrant, transfer into a rice cooker and add 1 1/4 cup of water.
  • Lastly, don’t forget to add in raisins and cashew nuts. Your rice should be cooked in an hour (depending on rice cooker settings). Enjoy!
